Jackie Annesley was born in the Middle East and it was on the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain that she started her journalism career.
People and places have always fascinated her the most. This led Jackie to a five year Australian odyssey before the British press beckoned in the 1990s. Ten years at the Daily Mail, more than a decade as a commissioning executive on the Evening Standard, followed by time as editor of News Review and then Style magazine on the Sunday Times taught Jackie everything she knows about producing content.
She does this for a tech retail company now called Soda - School of the Digital Age - while also writing book reviews for the Sunday Times and other pieces of journalism.
She is happiest sitting at her son’s desk which looks out onto their London street, tapping words into her laptop.
